About Us

Welcome to Sycamore Junior High School, serving students Grades 7-8.We proudly serve nearly 900 seventh and eighth graders, offering a vibrant array of learning opportunities. Our curriculum is designed to challenge and support every student, paving the way for academic success and personal growth during these crucial transitional years.

Our school embraces the theme of "freedom with responsibility," encouraging students to take on greater responsibilities while enjoying increased freedoms as they demonstrate maturity and accountability.

Exciting Academic Programs

Sycamore Junior High boasts a diverse selection of over 70 courses, including four global languages and nine accelerated classes. We prepare our students for the future with 21st-century career courses such as broadcast journalism, technology applications, and automation and robotics.

Beyond academics, we offer a wide range of extracurricular activities to enrich student life. With more than 23 clubs and activities and 19 athletic options, there's something for everyone at Sycamore Junior High.
